    Our Christmas present to you is a special holiday performance by Eddie J. Everyone requested that Eddie return after his March presentation so we are doing a special show with him for Christmas.  Come have a traditional Christmas meal and then enjoy Eddie J’s show.

     Come exercise with us,  Class meets for 1 hour, twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) and offers stretching, movement and aerobics.  Paula Ortega, our instructor is a massage practitioner from Southern Lakes Physical Therapy.  In addition to massage therapy, Paula assists patients with their physical therapy exercises.  She is anxious to work with you in class.You can start the class at any time.  We always welcome new-comers. There is no contract or membership fee and you pay just $2.00/class which you pay each time you come. You don’t pay for the days you don’t come. So if you miss some classes you don’t lose any money.. There is no commitment, no contracts just a comfortable place to exercise under a trained instructor.

    Are you looking to have good conversation, have fun and meet new people?  It is time to get out of the house and “Share the Wisdom”. Come join this incredible group of active and informed people.  Engage in the Lively Art of Conversation at Share the Wisdom.  The group meets weekly so people can come together to discuss all kinds of interesting topics.  New people are welcome at any time. You don’t have to come every week - only when it fits your schedule. Come to talk and share your ideas or come to listen and think.  You can come alone or with another person. There is just one rule: Only 1 person can talk at a time!  This group will make you laugh, make you think and introduce you to new people and ideas.  We are waiting for you.   There is no cost for this program; we just need you to fill out a registration form the first time you come.

    This is a very special Selebration.  Wisconsin folksinger and songsmith DAVID HB DRAKE presents “SHORELINES”, a concert of songs from the Great Lakes, Midwestern rivers, and the work songs of salt-water sailors. Authentic and historic sea shanties and fo’castle songs combine with original and contemporary songs by Gordon Bok Tom Lewis, and Stan Rogers, performed on concertina, banjo, dulcimer, Native Flute, and guitar. You don’t want to miss this Selebration .

    Did you know there was a settlement of people that lived on Jones Island?  The Kashubes were a settlement of fisher people that settled on Jones Island.  Rick Petri of the Urban Anthology Inc will show us a video about the Kashubes and discuss their disappearance. He will also make a presentation about a bus tour of neighborhoods and cultures that we can take this summer.

    Our good friend Dale Kuntz is returning with the film you wanted to see “Random Harvest.” After lunch we will adjourn to the BVCC Cinema (Room C) to enjoy this 1942 classic starring Ronald Coleman and Greer Garson. An amnesiac WW I vet falls in love with a music hall star, only to suffer an accident which restores his memory but erases his post war life.  This is a 2 handkerchief movie  - we’ll have a box of Kleenex available.
