Do you want to be READY to help
your family, school or community in an emergency? R.E.A.D.Y. stands for
Responding to Emergencies and Disasters with Youth and is run by you. Our goal is to introduce teens to learn a
variety of skills including how to respond in emergencies, prevention
strategies to keep people safe, problem solving, first-aid, team building,
public speaking, grant writing and more.
Club members complete 3 or more community service projects a year and have opportunities to attend specialized trainings.
Social activities like
hayrides and trips are also part of the fun. Team members have opportunities to
plan fundraisers, attend a week-long summer camp in
