TAl CHI is the ancient practice developed to integrate mind/body/ spirit based on the principles of "Yin and Yang" or Nature's Balance. Our classes develop TAl CHI skills: 1) POSTURE - aligning the body w/4 "gate" areas or energy pathways; 2) AWARENESS - discovering connections between body/mind/spirit, correlating it universally; 3) RELAXATION - learning to surrender to the natural forces of gravity & weightlessness (Yin/Yang) continually interacting throughout the body, adjusting to being "open" from head to toe w/calming breathing and 4) PRACTICE - through time and applying postures, you develop experience and growth. Christine has been practicing Tai Chi for 24 years and brings her own experiences to our classes. Wear comfortable clothes, flat-soled shoes or socks. Herbal Teas/Ice Water.
